CITATIONS AGAINST LITTLE CAESARS ARENA CONTRACTORS DISMISSED

Crim PLC represented four contractors to whom MIOSHA issued fall protection Citations arising from their work on the Little Caesar Arena project where the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons now play. MIOSHA dismissed all of the alleged violations after depositions of MIOSHA employees were taken during the Appeals. The depositions, as well as subpoenaed records, indicated that MIOSHA would not be able to bear its burden of proof on employee exposure and knowledge of the alleged violations. There were also issues relating to the conduct of the Inspection.
